A GHG Protocol inventory built for Indian data
GHGTRACKER converts fuel bills, electricity invoices, refrigerant top-ups and value chain activity into an auditable greenhouse gas inventory in tonnes of CO₂e, following the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Nothing is estimated behind your back: if an input or a factor is missing, the app says exactly what is needed instead of guessing a number.
Scope 1 — direct
Diesel, petrol, natural gas, LPG, CNG, coal, furnace oil, kerosene and biomass at IPCC 2006 factors, fugitive refrigerant losses at IPCC AR6 100-year GWPs, and process emissions from effluent and sewage treatment. Biomass is separated as biogenic CO₂ so it never inflates the fossil total.
Scope 2 — purchased energy
Eight CEA regional grid factors for India, calculated location-based and market-based, with RECs and PPAs at zero kg CO₂e/kWh. On-site generation consumed on site stays out of Scope 2 and is disclosed as a memo item, because its fuel already sits in Scope 1.
Scope 3 — value chain
All 15 GHG Protocol categories, from purchased goods, capital goods and upstream transport through business travel, commuting, waste, leased assets, use of sold products, franchises and investments — each line taking a curated factor or your own verified one.
